Pop-up Shop

During May 2022 I had the opportunity to host my own pop-up shop in Plymouth City Centre. Partnering up with Vacancy Atlas and Plymouth Culture, I spent a week showcasing work, collaborating with other local creatives, and running workshops and demonstrations to show and engage the public on what clay and ceramics is all about, showing different techniques, skills and products.

Collaboration was at the forefront of the project, also creating new products that showcased both my work and the work of other local artists and creatives in one piece. The outcomes of these were Fine China lights that featured a hand drawn decal created by the other amazing artists.

This was the largest project and exhibition that I have been a part of, needing meticulous planning and preparation to ensure the running of the space for the week I was there, and to ensure that I had produced enough stock to allow the shop to run for 7 Days.
